Our Story

An event at Zingerman’s Cornman Farms is the ultimate in rustic elegance. Romantic and relaxed, elegant and authentic, Cornman Farms is the perfect venue in which to start a new chapter, recognize and reward excellence, make new connections or learn about farming and animal husbandry.

Zingerman’s Cornman Farms’ event space features a lovely historic barn with two levels, including two crackling fireplaces, an expansive bar area, and an outdoor patio and pergola adjacent to our outdoor bonfire location. Our farmhouse features a sunny dining room, a lounge and charming exhibition kitchen and several “getting ready rooms” with lovely natural light and a balcony overlooking the grounds. Both the Barn and Farmhouse feature heating and air-conditioning, making them ideal year-around. Watch the chefs prepare an intimate farm-to-table celebration for your nearest and dearest in the farmhouse kitchen, or dance the night away in the romantic barn or with twinkling views of our grounds.

Cornman Farms offers a full selection of china, glassware, and silverware, as well as tables and chairs and an outdoor tent pavilion, for a seamless event and assurance of a culinary experience that will be second to none.

Zingerman’s Cornman Farms offers traditional wedding packages, winter wedding packages (winter is incredibly romantic!), an intimate wedding package for groups of twenty people or less, and an elopement package for up to four people.  We also hold parties, showers, corporate and team-building events, not-for-profit fundraisers, cooking experiences, cocktail-making classes, group tours, and much more.

Zingerman’s Cornman Farms sits on a 42 acre parcel of land with a rich farming history of nearly 200 years.  We are thrilled to offer this authentic venue to support Zingerman’s vision of farm-to-table dining and a dynamic, unique event space.  Chef Alex Young began farming on this land in 2003 and conceived a vision for the Farm’s growth to it’s current state, and then Chef Kieron Hales spearheaded the Cornman Farms project – after 5 ½ years as Zingerman’s Roadhouse Head Chef – and continues to lead the team on the Farm as Managing Partner.
