Herbs have held a place of honor in mixed drinks for centuries. Herbal cocktails are enjoyable on their own and pair fabulously with food. This evening we will embrace the sweet and savory herbaceous offerings of the farm, including mint, rosemary, and lavender, in three light and refreshing spring-inspired cocktails, which guests will learn to make themselves, and then imbibe while your host shares stories of cocktails and featured ingredients. We’ll explore our take on the Mojito, the Gimlet, and the Italian Spritz, using fresh herbs grown right outside the barn! Stroll through our herb garden during the break, and enjoy gourmet snacks cooked up by our talented chef in the farmhouse kitchen periodically throughout the class. All guests will leave with recipes for all the cocktails made this evening, and the know-how to confidently recreate them at home.
